St George Utah Temple – #1

Presided by President Jeffery Holland on December 10th. 

Joined by Son, Matthew Holland, Gerald Causse, Kevin Duncan, and Brian Taylor

Presiden Holland was baptized in the temple baptismal font, as well as endowed and sealed to the late Patricia Holland.

Open House: March 15-30, 2024

Dedication: April 28th by Dallin Oaks

Third in the Philippines, 10 more are planned.

Announced in 2010, It took 13 years, 6th months to compete

5th longest temple to complete. 

Puebla Mexico Temple

Open House: March 29th to April 20, 2024

Dedication: May 19th by Gerrit Gong

14th in Mexico, 9 more are planned. 

Layton Utah Temple

Open House: April 19th to June 1, 2024

Dedication: June 16th by David Bednar

20th in Utah, total of 28.

Announced in October 2022 as the Prosper Texas Temple

8.16 acre site on Stacey Road in Fairview Texas

Located across the street from the City of Allen.

Stiffed Mayor in Prosper and Fairview? 

Multi-story temple of 44,000 sq. ft. 

Will likely be sandwiched between two christian churches 

Vacant property on the corner owned by Twin Creeks Church of Christ – who has a church in Allen close to an LDS chapel. 

Antananarivo Madagascar Temple

10 acre site

Meetinghouse for the Ambohijanahary and Ambohimanarina Wards.

Located next to the U.S. Embassy

10,000 sq. ft. single level Temple with a Patron housing and Arrival facilities

Cagayan de Oro Philippines Temple

5 acre site on Rosario Limketkai Avenue

Down the road from the Limketkai Center Mall

Church has posted signs on the site since at least september 2022
