Do you find yourself repeating old lifestyle choices that you once thought you have overcome?
As humans it is normal for us to think of the past and remember the good after the storm. But we forget the bad quite often. That is why I have a rule. Leave the past in the past and keep moving forward.
I think of the past is a closed door that is shut. Because that door was shut for a reason. The further away we get from that door it is hard to see the caution or “do not enter” sign that we once put on it. Then we revisit the good memories of the past not even realizing that we did not think of the negatives. Which tricks us into ignoring the whole picture of what really happened and why we put that sign on the door for a reason!
Well here are a few techniques to letting go of the past from your personal lifestyle coach.

Nowadays I feel like many of us depend on the outside world to make us happy. The outside world may consist of a boyfriend, buying something we have dreamed of, shopping trips, a dream job, friends, or social media.
But Why do we give that power away instead of empowering ourselves?
This is because of two reasons that I know. There could be many more. One is because our parents ran to our rescue instead of letting us learn to self sooth. Or Two because society says that’s the way it’s done and puts us down when we learn to make ourselves happy.
