In the 4th episode of the series on our energy centers, Kate talks about the heart as it spaces and translates between the will and the word. Often we hear: listen to your heart, but have we been taught how to hear the voice, clear confusion and balance the valid opinions that live inside? Kate talks about the heart center and its very deliberate placement in the path of understanding, or attempting to hear our own true desires.
IMPORTANT:
In this episode, I mentioned that the bija sound for the heart center is Hmmm/Ham. It’s wrong. It’s Yam. I know this, and there is more. When I started sharing about the heart center I began swirling between the throat and the heart, blending even in my lesson planning the two centers and the herbal recommendation (mullein) is one that addresses the mucus of the throat, yet has a connection to the heart through grief (the release of) and I mention in the podcast how I came to learn of this connection.
I was thinking of the heart center and how it sits between the belly of our will and the center of our words, balancing for us how we move and what we say, and how delightful life is when we “walk our talk.”

This podcast is an offering for the Plutonian changes (whether you know that is or not!) and contemplating what needs to be let go, for our upcoming growth.
In this episode Kate, who is a curious educator and not an astrologer, talks about the upcoming 20 year cycle of growth and change, by looking back on a very packed past 15 years.
In this episode, our host covers:
- The inevitability of peaks and valleys
- How we may harness planetary and natural cycles to inform us about our own lives & growth
- Why giving up somethings is necessary to gain others (it's how nature works)
- Why boundaries are necessary, with immense gratitude to Colette Baron Reid https://www.instagram.com/colettebaron_reid/?hl=en and her insights on why we define parameters when we are looking to make change, as well as future Tend the Flame guest, Shawn Berry, https://www.instagram.com/thethreadthatpulls/?hl=en and his reminder of how boundaries grow the will, especially for children.
_ Why knowing yourself and tuning to your intuition is a necessary superpower to reawaken and cultivate.
