Forgiveness requires a tender heart. A hard and stubborn heart cannot forgive. When people hurt or offend you, do not harden your heart; choose to forgive. Forgive others just as God in Christ Jesus has forgiven you. 

"And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you." Ephesians 4:32.
