He played the world’s best golf courses as a touring professional, gained an understanding of club operations and the ability of the everyday player as a teaching professional, and acquired technical design experience under the guidance of noted designer Bob Cupp. Since founding Bergin Golf Designs in 1994, Bergin has combined his strategic instincts and design experience with a dedication to detail in project management.Bill has left his mark on many golf courses on Tennessee, beginning with his redesign of Chattanooga Golf and Country Club. He swept the TGA senior titles last year, winning the Tennessee Senior Amateur, Senior Four-Ball and Senior Match Play championships.Tim is one of only five golfers to win the United States Mid-Amateur twice. He has also played in The Masters twice, and was three times the low amateur in the U.S. Senior Open (2009, 10, 11).
