Toward the end of my time at university, I was walking through the student union building and saw a sign next to the travel centre that said, “Work abroad,” and I said, “Ok!” I went in to ask about the program and the criterion was simple: you had to have graduated from university in the last 6 months. I immediately qualified! The permit would let me work in Ireland for 4 months.
My time in Ireland was, as they say, a “good craic.” I would drink a lot of beer, eat a lot of food, go dancing, travel on the weekends, and work as legal transcriptionist.
