One for the books. This special two-hour tech house and techno mix was recorded live at Gravity 017 in Montgomery, Alabama on April 5, 2019. A wild, relentless, reflective club experience from start to finish. A huge thanks to the Gravity crew for having me back.
Gravity is a dance music party series launched in Montgomery, AL to promote underground house and techno music and to help catalyze the emergence of a unified underground music scene. Local DJs Oz Entertainment, BG, and Chasing have partnered with Barra, the city's hidden gem for underground dance music, to bring a thoughtfully curated lineup of music to the city in a fresh new way.
I set my sights on crafting a powerful and stomping dance floor destroyer from start to finish. The results are in. Conclusion: rhythmic, infectious and relentless. Here is TERMINAL011.
Here we are. Ten installments. Ten unique, personal, unforgettable mixes. TERMINAL010 is the quintessential summary of all we’ve been through so far. Over the next two hours, you’ll hear some carefully curated deep cuts giving way to techy, progressive grooves, before shedding all pretense and going straight for the jugular with relentless techno fury. Here’s to ten more, and beyond.
TERMINAL009 gets us back on schedule. It’s not always about playing the deepest, darkest underground tracks; sometimes a bit of mainstream production is fun and challenges creativity in new ways. Quality productions from Grum, Genix, Judah, Pryda, Jerome Isma-Ae, Estiva, Wehbba, and more made this genre-blending techno/trance hybrid an endlessly fun installment to record. Something special is on the way for TERMINAL010. Stay tuned.
The first of 2019. TERMINAL008 delivers a deep, dark dose of driving tech house and bubbling, pulsating techno, carefully selected and mixed live by Bluescreen.
TERMINAL007 is here to finish 2018 with a bang. In this installment, we start with some deep, techno-influenced progressive grooves from the likes of Fehrplay, Las Von, Matchy, and Grum, before taking a spaced-out techno odyssey with celestial jams to either vibe out or rave to your hearts’ content. Mixed live by Bluescreen as always. #TERMINAL007
TERMINAL006. This installment starts in a bit of a different direction, with a progressive trance double feature from Anjunabeats legends Grum and Kyau & Albert. Then we slide sideways into the underworld with a stacked lineup from Click Records, Terminal M, Unity, Pryda, Noir…you should just listen already. Mixed live by Bluescreen as always. No edits.
This one’s big. TERMINAL005 pulls no punches, bringing a massive festival vibe to your ears with one relentless techno banger after another and sprinkled generously with some special live edits.
