About Terri Johnson:

Terri S. Johnson, CRE, co-founder and managing partner of Capstan Tax Strategies, is dedicated to helping commercial real estate owners and investors achieve significant tax savings through engineering-based tax strategies. With 24 years of experience, Terri is a renowned expert in cost segregation, having authored articles, appeared on podcasts, and spoken nationally. She educates the public on real estate tax incentives and provides tailored training sessions for clients. Terri collaborates with CPAs to simplify complex tax laws, creating tools that distill legislative changes into accessible charts and graphics, and offers client-specific consulting to integrate new regulations into business processes.

A past president of CREW Philadelphia and a former director of the CREW Network, Terri also served as a CREW Foundation trustee. She is a Counselor of Real Estate and an associate member of the Pennsylvania Apartment Association-East and AICPA. Recognized by SmartCEO Magazine with the Brava! Award in 2010 and as a Future 50 member in 2017, Terri has also achieved Masters Level in Strategic Coach.
