This week's pick to end season five continues our tradition of choosing a very fun and confusing Shaw Brothers film with 1982's Buddha's Palm. This week's pick is the ABC (!) produced women in prison film Nightmare in Bedham County. This originally aired as a made for TV movie of the week, but it also got an international theatrical release with additional footage containing vulgarity, violence, and nudity. Featuring Mike Brady, Ginger from Gilligan's Island, and a very gross Chuck Connors.

This week's pick is the 1983 sci-fi E.T.-ish oddity Extraterrestrial Visitors. A boy befriends an alien that he names Trumpy that hatches from a space egg he found at a meteor crash site while its mother kills anyone it crosses in the surrounding woods with a light swat of the hand.

This week's pick is the 1981 Jaws rip-off the Last Shark aka Great White. A seaside town is terrorized by a massive great white and the residents must band together to stop it. Can the mayor, a horror novelist, and a shark hunter do it? Where were the police?!?!?

This week's pick is the 1974 low budget horror film Axe. A young woman takes grisly revenge on the three criminals who terrorized her and her catatonic grandfather. Featuring indoor fruit shooting and a toenail clipping scene.

This week's pick is the 1978 car action comedy Stingray. Al and Elmo buy a 1968 Stingray that some handsome criminals stashed drugs and dirty money in. They are then pursued relentlessly for the rest of the film. Icy calm!

This week's pick is the 1974 action style movie Golden Needles. A priceless ancient Chinese statue and the youth-restoring acupuncture needles contained in it is pursued halfway across the world. They promises the owner health and incredible vigor, but can also deliver a painful death. Featuring a good amount of uncomfortable Burgess Meredith nudity talk.

This week's pick is the 1974 poliziottesco film Shoot First, Die Later. A seemingly great cop is on the take but gets in too deep with the bad guys. Featuring an excellent exploding doorbell scene.

This week's pick is the 1982 revenge flick Vigilante. An outraged family man joins a co-worker's vigilantes against a New York street gang.

This week's pick is the 1976 flick Cat Murkil & the Silks. Eddie "Cat" Murkil kills his way to the top of his Los Angeles street gang, the Silks. Think of all the good times!
