Terror and Tacos

We got together on Halloween to talk about our favorite performances in horror movies and to eat delicious Dias De Los Muertos treats.

Halloween Ends (2022).

Los Ojos de Julia (2010). Can stress cause blindness? Can super attractive people disappear? What does the Hubble Telescope have to do with any of this? We set out to answer these questions and more.

Men (2022). Tacos y Mas. Is it possible to love half of a movie and utterly despise the other half? Yes. Yes, it is. Happy October!

She Will (2022). Taco Joint. We find out what happens when a movie is less than the sum of its parts, and we answer some listener questions.

Prey (2022). 8 Cloves-Spice of India. We talk about Prey, the original Predator, Amber Midthunder, and, how do you say, the absurdity of the French.

Abandoned (2022). Tortillas, butter, apple butter. Do you love the constant sound of a baby crying? Do you despise story, character, and subtlety? Are you tired of coherent rules? Abandoned is the movie for you!

The Black Phone (2022). Scalini's. We live out our latchkey kid dreams with the late-'70s set The Black Phone starring Hey, That's My Bike frontman Ethan Hawke.

Misery (1990). Taco Joint. We talk Misery, remember the legendary James Caan, and dive into toxic fandom.

X (2022). Studio 666 (2022). Coca-Cola Coffee. We are back! We talk Ti West's latest '70s-style X, the Foo Fighters' mess of a horror comedy, and July 4th. We also sample some sweet, sweet caffeine beverages.
