his week Fatheree and Dave are very happy to beam not one, but two special guests aboard the Starship Texas. We are joined by Trek writers Toni Marberry Jack Treviño who are from right down road in San Antonio. They received the ‘story by’ credits on both of the DEEP SPACE NINE episodes “Indiscretion” and “Little Green Men.” The pair of them gave us a lot of insight not just into those two stories but also the stories they pitched for the other Trek shows and what it was like trying to sell stories through Michael Pillar’s open submission policy.

We finally come to an end of our voyage through DEEP SPACE NINE’s third season, first time for Dave and 47th time for Fatheree. As we bring the season to a close we witness some thrilling espionage action in the “Improbable Cause”/“The Die is Cast” two-parter. Things get timey wimey in season 3’s O’Brien’s must suffer episode “Vissionary.” Ben and Jake Sisko do some father/son bonding in “Explorers.” Love it or hate it, there are Ferengi laughs to be had in “Prohet Motive” and “Family Business.” Oh! And those three ominous words that end the season with a gut punch,“We are everywhere.”
