Genesis 33 - Jacob meets Esau after just having a major encounter with God and yet he does not "walk in covenant;" e.g., acts as if he is in protected/provided by God's promises. As a result he tries to protect/provide for himself in the power of his flesh. And he is an example for us that we might walk in God's promises/covenant. There ought to be a difference between how Christian men prepare and respond to "potential crisis" and that of worldly men...but is there?
