A work of historical fiction and the story of 2 women from radically different walks of life who enter each other's' life in the Great Depression. Priscilla Tibbs and Joyce McMillan are about to change each other's lives when they decide to kill Priscilla's husband Oswald to make Priscilla wealthier than she already is. Joyce is a widow after her amazing husband dies of miner's lung. As she walks down the street of her slum, she meets Priscilla, an aristocrat who knows a bit too much about money in general.
