3 Key Points to Having Revival in our Church

      1. Preach the uncompromised Word of God
      2. Teach the whole Bible: Old and New Testament. This generation must have a full revelation of Almighty God, staying balanced in preaching & teaching.
        Acts 20:27
        2 Timothy 4:2
        John 8:32
      3. Pray for convicting power of the Holy Ghost
      4. Comes by the preaching and results in leading the hearers to true repentance & conversion.
        John 16:8
        Acts 2:41
        Acts 8:35-36
      5. Renounce the deception of coexisting with the world.
      6. Passionately seek the baptism of the Holy Spirit upon all meetings. Give room in your public services & small groups for the full expression of the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
        1 Corinthians 2:4
        Acts 2:4
        Acts 4:31

          Sermon Notes:

Mitosis is a fundamental process for life. During mitosis, a cell duplicates all of its contents, including its chromosomes, and splits to form two identical daughter cells. Because this process is so critical, the steps of mitosis are carefully controlled by certain genes. When mitosis is not regulated correctly, health problems such as cancer can result.

Normally, human cells grow and multiply (through a process called cell division) to form new cells as the body needs them. When cells grow old or become damaged, they die, and new cells take their place. Sometimes this orderly process breaks down, and abnormal or damaged cells grow and multiply when they shouldn't.

              Sermon Notes:

Faithfulness comes from a place of trust and loyalty

              • 2 Timothy 2:3-4
              • The first characteristic of a good soldier is the willingness to suffer hardship with the rest of the soldiers. To suffer hardship means to go through a lack of comfort, something hard to bear. A good soldier doesn’t quit because he faces a difficult task or a dangerous situation. He knows his life is expendable and he must be prepared to lay it down when required. Just as the dutiful soldier places his life willingly on the line in the service of his commander, so also will we, as the faithful christians that we are, we must willingly deny ourselves, and take up our cross, and follow the Lord (Luke 9:23).

A good soldier is one who does not simply do minimum duty for his Lord, but rather is one who serves Him with everything he is and has. As a Christian, that’s what we are called to be a good soldier doesn’t have a normal life but is deemed separated from the normality of a 9-5 job or the life of a non- believer. For a soldier of the Lord works and operates 24 hours a day, every day of their lives. His body, his health, his skills, his time all that we are belongs to the Lord.

When we think of what makes up a good soldier of the Lord , we should ask ourselves what makes a good soldier.

                1. Devotion: A religious or practice other than the regular worship of a congregation.
                2. Duty: The concept of duty in the New Testament emphasizes service and piety. Jesus says that when a servant has done his best, serving his master, he is only performing his reasonable service.
                3. Honor: To regard with great respect, the supreme level of honor is reserved for the Lord.
                4. Commitment: Means that certain decisions are made in advance, irrespective of the circumstances: I will honor the Lord, whatever the cost. I will obey God’s word, even when it is sometimes the hardest thing to do in life.
                5. The question that we all must ask ourselves in this day and age is, “what kind of soldier am I?”

Am I being a good and faithful soldier by reading my word and studying the good book of life. That I may show myself approved, that when ever I may be called upon to teach, or give a bible study to a new convert in Christ, or to a coworker at the job site, or to a family member or friend that we be ready and be able to minister to them with words from the Bible and not our own ideologies that when we speak of the goodness of the Lord.

The Christian’s greatest desire is to please the Lord, and our fondest hope is to be rewarded for our faithfulness to hear our Master say in (Matthew 25:21).

With that same hope let your life be propelled and driven forward by your love for our Master who art in heaven. And make it your intention to be pleasing to Him as a good and faithful soldier of the Lord.
