Are you excited for No Man's Sky? If yes then that's great! Did you think it was gonna be the greatest game ever made and take you 6000 hours to beat? If yes then you're dumb! What's wrong with you?! Why would you think that?!

Ok you're not dumb. But you may need to set reasonable expectations. NMS has leaked and we're gonna talk about it (no spoilers, put down the pitchforks) and also how maybe hype and expectations can sometimes come back to bite you in the ass. Also Abzu! Like an Overwatch competitive stomping, we've gone 2-0: that's right, Episode 20.  The mounties caught snaggle, so Cargen, Phokal, and Lanzo plot his escape. But first, let's chat about video games! We shine some light on indies like Factorio and Furi. Cargen actually manages to log in to Pokemon Go. Sega continues its buyout of the AAA PC exclusive genre: strategy games. Nvidia also has a new, cheap graphics card. And Red Dead Redemption is finally, officially backwards compatible.

Welcome to Episode 19, a duocast. Snaggle is busy stealth-celebrating the 4th of July in Canada and Lanzo is visiting a famous video game city, so it's up to Phokal and Cargen to report on news this week.  Unfortunately, Phokal has come down with the sickness (not Overwatch, but that, too) so we talk all about some smaller, bite sized games we've played like the recent E3 betas (Halo Wars 2, RE7, FFVX), Playdead's Inside, Doom, British political game theory, and (of course) Overwatch competitive. E3 is over. We've made it out the other side. SO MANY GAMES.

We cover all the press conferences from the good (Sony, Microsoft, SO MUCH DISHONORED 2) to the bad (EA and UBI get your heads out of your butts please) and everything in between. Dad of War.
