Episode 2 of Three for the Show travels back in time to 1984 for The Last Starfighter. This cult classic is a sci-fi adventure about a teenager, Alex Rogan, who is recruited by an alien defense force to fight in an intergalactic war after achieving a high score on a video game that turns out to be a recruitment tool. Todd and Sue have both seen this movie, which means Roger is our “Newman” this week. Find out if the cheese is too much for Roger or if he will embrace the early computer graphics as we work our way through our categories and then head off to the stars.
