The Lord sets us up in the garden, a place of rest, purposeful work, and right standing with Him. Then the enemy comes and brings war right to our front door. Cast out and destroyed, he can't touch the Father, therefore, He attacks who’s next in line, His creation and children. He begins to plant seeds of doubt; the enemy plants things in our heart that we know to be “true” during our time in darkness, and uses it against us in attempts to create a stronghold, or place within our hearts that will refortify his way of thinking within us. But Jesus gives us a weapon that will prevail against every attempt when we hold fast to the truth that has set us free. Let’s not make that when an “if”.

When we become convinced of Who God is, what Jesus has done, and the Spirit we have received, we are moved to respond to The Lord.
