I consider myself a connoisseur of sorts as it relates to hip-hop. One of the most important but slept on parts of an album is the interlude. It usually happens so quickly you miss the message, but more often it leaves you wanting more.
Interludes, by nature,
are transformational and transitional moments.
They’re an opportunity for us to catch our breath, pause, reflect, & recalibrate.
Interludes act as a review and set-up, they hint at the driving force of an albums whole point.
Interludes offer new depth, and with newfound perspective allow us to see the picture differently.
So, it my privilege, my honor, and a labor of love to introduce you to tha interlude -
