Psalm 34 is a Psalm of consolation addressing the pains of lost love. The author speaks of feeling forsaken, of being misunderstood and of being treated unjustly. In verses 17-22, the author talks about discovering the LORD is righteous and that this knowledge seals the heart against all hurt and despair. As we come to understand this, we come to realise that we are not alone and that despite the pain, our Heavenly Father is with us.
