# Artificial Lure's LA Fishing Report – Thursday, November 27th

**Tidal Conditions**

We're looking at some solid tidal movement today. Low tide hit early this morning at 3:09 AM down in San Pedro at 1.77 feet, and we've got a high tide coming through at 8:22 AM at 2.79 feet. That afternoon low around 3:03 PM at 1.02 feet should push some baitfish, and we'll see another high tide at 9:55 PM. These swings are perfect for getting structure and baitfish moving around.

**Weather & Light**

Sun's coming up at 6:17 AM and heading down at 6:10 PM, so you've got a full day of opportunity. The marine forecast is looking real favorable – variable winds less than 10 knots with seas running 2 feet or less. That's pretty clean out there, folks.

**Recent Catches**

The reports have been excellent across Southern California. Marina del Rey Sportfishing just landed 530 total fish across two trips with 103 anglers – we're talking 218 sculpin, 155 whitefish, 100 mackerel, 30 rockfish, and some solid calico bass. Out of San Diego, Point Loma Sportfishing crushed it with 155 fish on four trips including 108 yellowtail and 24 bluefin tuna. The Amigo out of 22nd Street Landing brought in 60 white seabass, 15 bluefin, and 9 halibut on their 1.5-day trip. Long Beach's Victory had limits of sculpin, 49 calico bass, 103 blue perch, rockfish, and sheephead – constant action all day.

**What's Biting**

Calico bass are firing right now – they're running shallow, so focus on surface presentations. Small sliders and small plastics are working, along with A-rigs. Flyline bait's producing too. The water temp's sitting around 67 degrees, which has the bass super active. White seabass and yellowtail are showing up strong, plus bluefin tuna if you're heading offshore.

**Best Spots**

Marina del Rey and 22nd Street Landing are producing consistent numbers. If you're willing to head to San Diego, Point Loma's been on fire. Long Beach's Pierpoint Landing just reported 366 fish across six trips with 188 sand bass and 132 bluefin tuna.
