  • Living Together in Christ - Part 1
This sermon explores the concept of Christian fellowship as a profound partnership rooted in a common salvation and shared faith in Christ, rather than mere social association. Drawing from Philippians 1, the message highlights how the Apostle Paul's joy and thanksgiving for the Philippian church stem from their active participation in the gospel and the grace of God that established their community. The exposition emphasizes that true fellowship is defined by doctrinal truth, mutual prayer, and a consistent commitment to advancing the kingdom, even amidst suffering or personal differences. Believers are encouraged to view their church family through the lens of their shared Savior, fostering unity, gratitude, and sacrificial service. The tone is pastoral and instructive, calling the congregation to move beyond passive attendance to active, joyful engagement in the work of God.

  • As We Have Heard, So Have We Seen
The stones of the temple at Jerusalem were thrown down in 70 AD. The towers and bulwarks of Zion that God commands us to walk about and count are found now in the Word of God. The kings saw the city of God, "marvelled," and "hasted away" (Psalm 48:5). If we have not heard the Word of God, we cannot see. We do not even know what to look for. A Christian who prays for the salvation of his children is to open the Word of God and walk about Zion, "that ye may tell it to the generation following." (Psalm 48:13)

  • Lay Down the Reins
When it's time to Stop Controlling and Start Trusting True biblical peace comes from trusting God with our circumstances, not controlling every outcome ourselves. In this episode of SheRises, we examine anxiety, surrender, Christian responsibility, and the exhausting burden of trying to hold the reins of life. Jesus promises, "My peace I give you" (John | 14:27), but He never promises a trouble-free life. Instead, He offers settled confidence in God's sovereignty, goodness, and care, even during grief, illness, conflict, financial pressure, or uncertainty. Jesus reminds us, "In the world you will have tribulation" (John | 16:33), while Philippians | 4:6–7 teaches us to bring our requests to God through prayer, supplication, and thanksgiving. Biblical surrender is not passivity; it means taking faithful action while trusting God with the outcome. Listen and reflect on where you may be holding tightly to control instead of resting in Christ's peace.

  • Devo 106: Answered Prayer
The devotional centers on Psalm 50:14–15, 23, emphasizing that genuine prayer is rooted in a heart of gratitude, faithful obedience, and trust in God's sovereignty during trials. It teaches that a 'sacrifice of thanksgiving' is not merely ritual but a deliberate, heartfelt act of the will—offering praise even in hardship, as gratitude is both a divine command and a spiritual discipline. The message underscores the importance of keeping vows to God, recognizing the weight of promises, and calling upon Him in distress, trusting that He will deliver and be glorified through our response. Drawing from personal testimony and biblical truth, it illustrates how suffering, when surrendered to God, becomes a means of spiritual preparation and testimony, enabling believers to minister to others who endure similar pain. Ultimately, the sermon calls for a life marked by continual thankfulness, not because circumstances are easy, but because God is faithful, sovereign, and worthy of praise in all things.

  • Prayer Moves God
The sermon emphasizes that effective prayer begins with acknowledging the greatness and majesty of God, rather than focusing solely on personal needs. It distinguishes between general communication, specific supplication born of deep need, and intercession for others, using biblical examples like Jacob, Jabez, and Joshua to illustrate the power of audacious and specific requests. The speaker urges believers to break free from restrictive traditions and emotional chains, allowing the Holy Spirit to guide their posture and expression in worship. By recognizing God's ability to do exceedingly above what is asked, the church is called to pray with confidence and expectation, trusting that such prayers will move the hand of God in their lives and community.
