We were originally going to do two books for the holiday, one racist piece of $#!t and one full of nuanced representation. But on further discussion, we decided that it's just not okay for us to do a big episode where we give one of these racist-a$$ books the time of day. So we combined it into a big Superspecial in which we discuss the ugly history of Native American-themed romance novels and then we fling ourselves gratefully into the cool, crisp waters of Kathleen Eagle's Carved in Stone.
