This Christmas season can look different for all of us, and sometimes it can feel stressful and lonely. Satan only wants one thing, and that’s to steal your joy and destroy you. But God wants to write a different story for you for THIS season, and every day! The language of a Christian is gratitude…while it can be difficult to be thankful in hard times, we can always be thankful for the finished work of Jesus! There is so much happening all around us, but it’s not happening to us! God has so much to say about the times we’re in, and He expects us to hear Him, and Him only! We have a lot of things that are trying to get us to live by our emotions, but that’s not what God has called us to. Have you ever felt far from God? Do you sometimes feel alone? I know I have had those feelings in seasons of my life, and today I am sharing an encouraging word to not stay in that place. As the world sinks deeper into darkness, the lies of the enemy become stronger. The things of this world become easier to grab ahold of. So, how can we tell a truth from a lie? How can we know truth when we see it? How can we not fall for the schemes of satan? The Bible tell us the our adversary is the father of lies, and that’s all he knows. But one thing he’s good at is wrapping up lies in pretty packages to make us think it’s truth. Because if this, we MUST be knowledgeable in the truths of Jesus! We cannot serve the world and God at the same time…Jesus is THE way, THE truth, and THE life. Listen to todays episode and encouraged!

We have an identity crisis happening in our world. While we can question who we are, we can be reminded that our foundation starts with the fact that we are children of God! God is not confused about who you are, or whose you are! In order for us to walk out the plan and purpose that God has for us in this life, we have to remember who we are and act like it. We are his beloved, most prized possessions! He loves you!! Listen today, and be encouraged!!

In this life people will come, and they will go. Situations in life will change like the winds, but that doesn’t mean that God still doesn’t sit on His throne. Sometimes life is like a hurricane, but if we keep our eyes on Jesus, we can walk on the water with Him. As the times are changing, and we see the day of our Lord coming, He has shown us things that will happen…we will take a closer look at one of those signs today. Have a listen, and be encouraged!

I think we could all say that we have something that keeps us from being our best, BUT God has called us to lay aside EVERY weight that keep us from running our race. We are not called to do this thing alone! As we see THE DAY approaching, we are called to “get light” and run our race with endurance! It’s by HIS STRENGTH that we stay the course!
