We are jumping into our new series, Let's Talk About It! Kirsten takes on a hard topic, politics. Many are outspoken about their political beliefs, but as Christians where are we to stand, and are we to speak out? Kirsten talks about the most controversial topics such as abortion, our current presidential candidates, and voting.

Our last message on the book of Matthew ends with Kirsten talking about the resurrection of Jesus. Kirsten talks about the stone being rolled away in a new light, it wasn't to let Jesus out, but so that others could see in and be persuaded that He was raised. Jesus says go and take my word and many of the disciples do that and we have that same call to action.

In this episode, George talks about how Jesus reached out when everything was going wrong with forgiveness and love. God is a God of second chances and always brings us up. George further explains how Jesus comes from the highest form of love and comes down to our form of love and brings us up.

In this week's episode, Tay discusses Matthew 25 and the parable of the 10 virgins. She explains how they were unprepared with insufficient oil and compares this to how we may appear to be Christians but not truly know Jesus. She emphasizes that Jesus wants all of us and encourages us to go through life with Him.

In this chapter, it is during that time that Jesus had one week left to live and speaks of the end times such as rumors of wars, pestilence, etc. Kirsten breaks down the text and how it can be debated in many ways, but we do not know the time or hour; what we can do is live our lives glorifying God now.

We discuss different ways to tithe, where you can make your contributions, and how to decide how much to give. Giving practical advice for young adults especially those living in expensive areas, like Long Island. PLUS, balancing tithing while saving for big purchases, such as buying a home.

George tackles Matthew 23, as we continue our Matthew series in the New Testament. Where Jesus delivered a series of teachings and rebukes to the Pharisees and scribes. This chapter contains important messages about humility, sincerity, and how we are to live out this message as Christians.

Special guest speaker Oscar focuses on the theme of being with Christ, belonging to God, and the importance of loving your neighbors and God with all your heart. We explore that Jesus boldly preaches and draws people to him, He is the word, the word became flesh, and it is drawing people into truth and love.
