According to the CDC, boys are more likely to be diagnosed with ADHD than girls. It probably has a lot to do with how the symptoms present differently. What used to be considered a childhood disorder for boys, is now becoming more widely accepted and diagnosed into adulthood. Women are telling their stories all over the internet about how their diagnosis got overlooked.
