Mary is distracted by a glimmer of light she claims to see when she's near a window. Together, Charles and her head to Mankato to see if the eye specialist there has the answers. At home in Walnut Grove, Laura decides the best thing for Mary to have upon getting her eyesight back is a place where she and Adam can be alone. Enlisting Albert to assist with some cometic work, Laura sets to task with fixing up Mr. Edwards' old shack to the shock of the entire town. How's Adam you ask....It's not until the episode is almost done someone checks in on how he's feeling. When Mary returns home, despite not getting the answers she was hoping for, she learns an important lesson from Tough Lovin' Charles about pity she eventually has to share with Laura. Was anyone else hoping Nellie would make an appearance and end up covered in Pink or Purple paint? Why did Doctor Burke have to be out of town on a trip?
