Siri, queue "Unfaithful" by Rihanna, since this episode was the opposite of faithful. Also, can we talk about the iconic crash out? Emily really drove the point home (literally). Pun after pun, and Fred Waterford is finally showing his true colors after trying to come across as the 'cool' Commander, but in reality he's just as bad as the rest of them.

Fred Waterford is such a fucking nerd! He learned Latin because his parents thought it would help him do better in his SATs, and now he's a Nazi! Oh, how the turntables!

This episode shows us that the resilience and bravery of one woman can inspire others to be brave as well. Sometimes one small act of defiance can start a revolution. DON'T LET THE BASTARDS GRIND YOU DOWN!

In Gilead, women no longer have access to money, it's illegal for them to work, and they can't own property. The only time a woman is valued is when they are able to get pregnant, and bring a healthy baby into this world. Being pregnant means you get treated with a little bit of dignity, and for those Handmaids that are not able to get pregnant- They will be the ones they blame. In this new world, women have nothing but are blamed for everything.

What's more traumatizing than thinking your newborn baby was kidnapped? I guess it would be seeing a newborn baby being taken away from its mother and handed to a strange woman and not being able to do anything about it. The parallels between June thinking her daughter was kidnapped, and Janine's newborn baby being handed to Naomi is gut wrenching.

In Gilead, the women have no power. Well, let me rephrase that- In Gilead, the Handmaids are powerless, and the wives have the illusion of some sort of power. However, the scene with all of the Handmaids hugging shows that at least there is still community- Even in the darkest times friendship perseveres.

I was an emotional wreck this whole episode, and it's barely episode 2, so get your tissues ready for the rest of the season.

We are in Gilead, baby, and it's so much worse than I remembered... The women have no rights, and the men quote the Bible to excuse their horrific actions- Just a normal day in the new and reformed United States. Under his eye.

Also, HUGE TRIGGER WARNING for this season. It's gonna be a tough one.

Another season has come and gone and this one was a vacation! Literally! Massages, and yoga, and Buddhism, sprinkled with a little bit of revenge and murder- Just a tiny bit. In this bonus wrap-up episode, I go over who in the cast got Emmy nominated, the psychology behind family annihilators, some of the things I wanted but didn't get to see this season and then I end it with a fun game pitching a family from this season against a family from season 1! It's all fun and games until we're floating dead in the water. RIP to the most toxic couple alive.

Denials, regret and a whole lotta guilt was thrown around in this episode by a lot of the characters. We finally got the climax moment we were yearning for and it was not what we expected- It was worse... Mike White has been savoring that moment since season 2 when he poked around with the idea of it and he finally went for it this time around. Mike White, you evil evil- Clever man!

Rick is a better friend to Frank than he is a boyfriend to Chelsea. That monologue scene alone is an intensive training on how to get rid of the male loneliness epidemic. Thank me later for the knowledge I just dropped!

In this episode, Piper's big secret is revealed, unnamed drugs are taken, Lorazepam is popped, and some people GET THEIR FREAK ON. ;) I also try to improv what I think Laurie whispers into Valentin's ear, and it goes very badly.
