The town of Brookline will consider a proposal that cracks down on the amount of time residents have to clear snow off the sidewalk in front of their home. Currently residents have 30 hours to remove snow. The new proposal would only give them 6 hours to remove the snow. Fines for not shoveling would also go up from $100 to $200.
