We chat with Arthur Ponsonby, one of the founders of The Right Tuition Company who are specialists in helping children to prepare for exams and developing a child's skills and knowledge through non computer based, small class learning, both at four learning centres in Kent and online.
We find out more about how the business has developed over the last six years to offer students from all of the schools in the Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge, Rochester and Sittingbourne areas, and the positive impact this has in boosting children's confidence in their skills and to pursue their passions in life.
We also talk about the company's support for and sponsorship of the Tunbridge Wells Soapbox Race next year.
We are delighted to be producing That Right Tuition Chat – a three episode series of student support podcasts for The Right Tuition Company – starting on 7 October!
Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
In this episode we chat with Minh Lan Nguyen, Fundraising Relationship Manager at Hospice in the Weald, about how the hospice has adapted in lockdown to not only continue their essential 24/7 palliative care services as normal, but also be able to treat patients diagnosed with COVID-19.
Minh explains how fundraising has changed (possibly permanently!) with their necessary adoption of virtual fundraising, and how to get involved in their first big event in lockdown celebrating 40 years of care - the virtual Hospice Run - where you can complete 10k in 40 days starting today, Tuesday 1st September and raise money to help patients and their loved ones get the care they deserve.
We also talk about how the Hospice came to be the long term charity supported by the Tunbridge Wells Soapbox Race, what it meant to the Hospice to be involved, and how their services and support have personally touched Nicole and other members of the Soapbox team.
