That Sounds Gay

This week, we talked Animal Crossing New Horizons, obscure internet memes, Debbie the eHarmony cat lady, Nikki the right in front of my salad woman, older YouTubers, and the future and past of cryptids! Is bigfoot real? How about mothman? Let’s talk about them!

This week, Jesse and I talked about the newer Japanese reality show Boyfriend and it’s predecessor Terrace House, a random lipsync moment from season 10, Snatch Game characters, terrible makeover judgment, branding challenges, and the finale of season 13 of drag race as we rewrite almost every single challenge!

This week, we talked about the classic film Mrs Doubtfire and how drag saves the world and saves families!

This timeless movie tackles some heavy and beautiful family issues while looking at gender and unconventional behavior without making it a joke or calling the behavior deviant. This is a spectacular film for its time!

This week Jesse and I avoided talking about Drag Race Season 13 by talking about TV shows with laugh tracks, the rumored cast of All Stars Season 10 and our thoughts on the list that sounds AI generated, a spicy tin foil hat theory, and get into the observer effect as we dissect the looks of the bag ball, and some of the early season challenges that we perceived as being potentially filler.

This week, Jasmine and I talked about the traditional work week and weekend, difficulty of job perception, and reacting to Am I the Asshole situations from reddit. Should she have outed her sister’s fiance? Should he have said “that’s pretty gay!” to his kid coming out? Let’s figure out who really is the a-hole here!

This week, Jesse and I start the long avoided season 13! We talked about the lipsync extravaganza in episode one, and storylines that developed through the seasons of each of the contestants, as well as who we thought won each lipsync, before discussing in depth the two split runways and performance challenges! Which team did we think ate up the other? We discuss it all!

This week, Jesse and I avoided talking about season 13 by talking the Salem Witch Trials, and ranked our favorite Drag Race lipsyncs from across all the franchises. This list wasn’t necessarily the “best” but rather our personal best. There are so many iconic lipsyncs across the Drag Race franchise, it was fun to go through these!

This week, Jasmine and I were joined by my friend Apollo, who also streams on Twitch, about DnD, parks of being a DM, the TLDR  ins and outs of Dungeons and Dragons. This was a great time with Apollo learning about something that we’ve always been interested in.
