That Sounds Gay

Jesse and I were feeling nostalgic today, we were talking about old candies and how they were just sugar but so delicious.

Today we’re getting into the middle three segments of Canada’s Drag Race Season 3, Bitch Stole Me Look, Snatch Game, and the Makeup Challenge.

We talk about the star rise of Gisele Lullaby and Jada Shada, how Miss Fiercalicious has stepped up her cookies and is slaying the runway each week, some fun twists on challenges, and what makes this season so special and memorable in the pantheon of Drag Race seasons.

We’re back in Drag Race Canada to talk a-boot season 3.

We share the queens we stan this episode like Sisi Superstar, Miss Moco, Chelazon, and Fiercealicious. We get into the werkroom entrances, storylines of this season, and the first mini challenge runway and how those looks translated to the maxi challenge looks. We talked about the Who-Knows Award show, and some Ru-ets.

This week is a fun one, as we both love the Canada’s Drag Race franchise!

This is a season that is unmatched in the franchises, and we had a lot of fun with this first episode.

We’re back, and we’re talking about the last few episode of Drag Race France Season 1.

The Drag Race Thailand Season 3 complaining hasn’t ended, as Jer has a vendetta against it for all of time and space, we talked about Lolita’s ongoing underutilized storyline, pop and rock girl groups, the perfume challenge, the quick paced makeover, and the final unspectacular lipsync to a RuPaul song with no queen lyrics.

We talk about inconsistent critiques, storylines that went way too hard, the various looks of the season, and some missing lipsyncs.

We hope you enjoyed our thoughts on this season!

This week, Jesse and I are starting a new franchise for the podcast, Drag Race France season 1.

We went extensively into what our problem was with this season, as we have some complaints so far. We talked about the editing choices, casting, and overall presentation of this first season.

This week we’re talking about the first four episodes, the variety show, the acting challenge, a French Ball, and the Snatch Game. These are key challenges that helped shape production goals, and we went deep on our thoughts of each challenge and the runway assignments.

This week we’re finishing All Stars 7!

We talk about the gay urge to bail last minute, or as an event it happening, failing at the Sims, and legendary legends.

Raja has a fun storyline with wanting to be blocked to learn the plunger secret, and when she finds out, we all laugh. In this episode, the queens have to make viral videos, give a sickening roast, perform their best variety numbers, and lipsync against each other.

Who will win our last stars, and who did we want to win the entire season based on our scores?

This week, Jesse and I are back talking about the middle section of All Stars 7.

Not giving queens badges in the first segment is weighing on both of us, and we must give flowers where flowers are due.

We start with Draguation Speeches, where we ponder who the target demographic was and how they could have focused it better, we talk about the Jinkx and Viv feud all season, some 2000’s girl groups, and RuPaul recreation looks.

Who will win our stars this week?

We’re back with the last segment of Drag Race Espana Season 2! We can’t believe it’s almost over for our discussion! We started on a Season 6 kick, and a very silly mood indeed!

This week, we’re getting into the nitty gritty of the last few episodes, starting with Come to Espana, Estrella’s wig journey and encounters with glue. and continual chaos. Jer rages against quick drag, again, while the girls are raging in sumo outfits, Marina does a Pokemon style confusion spin, and the girls get activated by the unproblematic positivity of a famous diva who also got the queens activated in Drag Race Italia.

We sung further praises for Sharonne, who is dominating this season, and dive into the comedy roast challenge where a favorite of ours went home somewhat shockingly.

This was such a fantastic season, and we’re sad that it’s over for the podcast discussion!

I hope you enjoyed this season as much as we did!

This week, we’re back to talk about some iconic Spanish women!

Jer apologizes to a queen from last week in a heartfelt stan moment, we discuss the incredible musical, the strange Snatch Game, and go into the looks of the Spanish Ball.

Dovima catches so many strays during this stretch, someone sounds like Count Chocula when they sing, Denny’s theater kids are discussed, an Emma Stone SNL skit gets some serious attention, and Sharonne continues to be the best front runner of all time.

This week’s gay sound is iconically paranormal!

We’re back into Espana, starting up Season 2, where we talk about this incredible cast, Jer’s early predictions for the season, the workroom entrance looks, the talent show, and the season’s first improv acting challenge.

This week we’ll be discussing fashion, farts, wig fails, and so much more!

Buckle in, because this is a great season!
