Our last episode with Ben (for now)!! This long conversation closed pretty nicely. Whether you have a full blown plan on going after your dreams and are having a hard time making it happen, or if you’re parking it for now because of the circumstances, we want you to know that we see you.

You are not in this alone so we hope these VERY candid and obviously sabaw conversations help in making you feel that.

This episode doubles as a popcorn ASMR. But aside from that, we

spend some time talking about how we discovered our gifts or how people around us have helped in speaking life over us and these gifts. While we are somehow making use of these talents now, we still struggle and continue to learn to embrace them everyday.

P.S. We have nothing against people who love crocheting.

Bene wanted to be a cowboy. Aio wanted to be a basketball player. We wanted to be different things when we were much younger. With strong influences from family and expectations from people surrounding us, how do we get to be our own person?

A few weeks to go and we’re entering the “ber” months, but somehow it feels like, not too long ago, we were just starting the year! So before we get too overwhelmed, let’s sit down and talk about how necessary it is to have these pockets of rest in the middle of everything that’s going on.

This is ½ of the recordings in Baguio that we really enjoyed doing! For this one, we’re answering the questions that were sent by one of our donuts about the songwriting process. More than where we are now in our songwriting journeys though, what we found really nice was the fact that we were able to look back at our humble, playful and innocent songwriting beginnings.

Some very fascinating connections were made… so yeah, join us here by the morning campfire! HAHA

We actually got to land this two-part episode in quite a beautiful way. After talking about the feeling of wanting to escape in the previous episode, we share our efforts in dealing with it in our unique ways. Things fell well into place for this one and we glad it did. Hang in there, donuts :)
