Like any other thing, it has its pros and cons so, here, we dig up our own experiences of it in our own unique mission fields. Fair warning: We get extra blabber…y.

We welcomed 2022 with a surge of cases, loved ones getting sick, canceled plans, and fear; and it’s easier to give in to the lie that we are going through it alone. In this episode, we talk about our word of the year, what it could possibly mean for us, and the importance of friendship and community.

Word of the year, faith goals and resurrected dreams. We look back at the year 2021 with its highs, lows, wins, frustrations and try to see if we were able to stay the course as we originally planned to… or if we had gone towards a completely different path. Eitherway, we’re just happy to find our steps directed by God in obvious, sneaky ways.

Most of us know that we’re called to prepare for the coming of Jesus for Advent, so we get into what this really means for us - even when we know that it’ll be a task. As we really go into what this means for each of us personally, we hope you would also get the courage to take your own journey this Christmas season. Find out why it’s a celebration for you too.

Favorite Christmas movies, songs, traditions and food, lots and lots of food! We talk about the things we love about Christmas, how they bring us much happiness and, of course, we find ourselves digging a little bit deeper into real joy.

We go through the holiday season year in and year out but every year seems to be a never ending attempt to make it what we hope for it to be - despite the festivities and busyness. In the next few weeks, we will be talking about the things we love and things we’re not big fans of in this  season of reunions, lechon and fruitcakes. We weren’t always comfortable around each other but our mutual love for all kinds of music served as a way to create a safe space for each other. Our rub with music has not always been smooth but, here, we talk about why we do it anyway. Fair warning: this particular episode has a lot of purpose talk so better prepare your hearts!

A lot of us automatically think of white fluffy clouds, angels in pure white robes, and trumpets blowing when we think of holiness. But what does it really mean to be holy? And how can we live that out in our careers, relationships, or anywhere else outside the Church?
