À la suite d'un décès, le passé familial va refaire surface et emporter comme une vague de fond sur son chemin Christian Pfahl qui fera l'objet d'une révélation qui va bouleverser toute sa vie et dont l'histoire peu banale mérite d'être contée...

En cette journée commune comme il en est de nombreuses sous nos latitudes et dont rien ne prédestinait Christian Pfahl à recevoir l'information qui par la suite fera office de révélation et de ce fait devenir le dépositaire post mortem de l'héritage artistique de la famille. C'est en fouillant dans les archives familiales que Christian découvre avec stupeur que son arrière grand père Calixte de son prénom à été photographe et contemporains des frères Lumières. Les photographies qui se dévoilent les une après les autres témoignent de se passé riche en expérience humaine et photographique, et comme par magie Christian se sent le dépositaire ou peut être même l'héritier légitime de cet art souvent commenté et maîtrisé seulement par de rares personnalités dont la fibre artistique se déploie avec ferveur après que les diaphragmes enjoués aient laissé passer la lumière pour imprimer le tableau des humeurs non pas sur la pellicule comme cela se faisait il n'y a pas si longtemps encore, mais en binaire. Cet héritage qui à traversé les ages pour finalement déclencher chez Christian une réaction d'une force inouïe lui a permis de nouer un dialogue de part les années avec cet arrière grand-père qui d'une main bienveillante à conseillé son arrière petit fils afin qu'il poursuive la tradition familiale initiée au 19ème siècle.

Now she has just release her latest creation, in 7 languages at the same time, an inspiring book for children to discover and explore their potential and the world around them.

The first time I met with multifaceted author Ana Ortega for a chat was when she just launched what was at the time her latest book, My Coffee Man, a romantic story about finding a partner, and I have to say that I had a very interesting/inspirational conversation with her and the time flew by. I learned that writing is a muscle that need to be exercise every day or at least very often if you want to be able to structure properly and with ease your ideas. With books covering many different topics she has explore a broad variety of writing genres. To my point of view the most difficult of them all is writing specifically for children specially when the aim is to help kids discover and explore their potential and the world around them. Another particularity about her latest publication entitled Bruno the Yellow Lab is that the book has been released in 7 languages at the same time, which speaks volume about the quality of the book and the confidence of the publishing company, as normally books gets published in one language and depending on the success, further languages are added along the way.

Imagine yourself being so disillusioned by the industry from your favorite sport about the lack of innovation that you decide to think what you can do to improve the situation and provide a new answer that will benefit the whole snowboarding community... Adams Lin has done just that.

Adams Lin is a passionate man who cannot conceive the world of winter sports without snowboarding and since he discovered this winter sport practice he was hooked from the get-go. But as the time passed by and despite always looking for the latest trend in the snowboarding industry the boredom started to creep in because the more he looked for innovation the more his disappointment grew to a point that he decided instead of waiting for innovations that it seems were never going to happened any time soon and on top of that was leaving the snowboarding community with a sense of "déjà vu", he decided instead that he wasted already to much time waiting for others to bring the innovation that he was so desperate to find on the market that he decided to be an agent of change and started thinking about what he could do to improve the situation and provide a new answer that will benefit the whole snowboarding community and industry. And I kid you not he invented the first snowboard equipped with suspension which in turn brings many benefits to the snowboarding practice. On Adams Lin very own words, and for you to understand this breakthrough technology, making the following analogy "is like being used to drive a truck and suddenly being given a Lamborghini".

Quand un saxophoniste doublé d'un compositeur qui à eu le bonheur de pouvoir compter sur l'expérience incommensurable du légendaire Lee Konitz se raconte on délaisse ses occupations pour se concentrer sur son récit et découvrir son univers musical.

Afin de commencer l'année 2019 sur une bonne note j'ai décidé de vous proposer le portrait d'un musicien aux multiples facettes, Ohad Talmor qui compose et joue du saxophone avec brio.  Ohad Talmor est un saxophoniste doublé d'un compositeur qui a eu le bonheur de pouvoir compter sur l'expérience de l'incommensurable et légendaire Lee Konitz en tant que mentor, ce qui lui a permis très rapidement d'élargir son éventail musical, et de ce faire apprécier dans le monde entier pour la qualité de son expression musicale teintée d'improvisation inspirée.
