Well, here we are - it's season 3 and we are excited more than you could know!  It's a brand new season and a brand new format.  Each season we try to evaluate and grow.  This season Holly and I are going to be more interactive.  We are focusing this season on current relevant topics which you will be easily familiar with.  You may even have difficulty on knowing how to address them.  All of these topics are central to our overall theme of "Waking The Sleeping Giant".  What is this sleeping Giant?  Join with us and find out - it may be just what you need to hear!

Here it is, December 25, 2022 just about here.  We at United In Christ Jesus would like to extend to everyone a very Merry Christmas; or as we like to say - Happy Incarnation Day!

Here is a short 14 minute program where Holly and I talk about the importance of celebrating GOD the SON being born into the world!  We also look at the origins of Christmas and discuss is Christmas just another pagan holiday?  Here is a link which gives a good brief broad brush stroke of the origins Christmas. 

We pray GOD is glorified and the church built up.  If you do not believe in Jesus, may this podcast reveal more of who HE is and what HE has done so you may have peace with GOD. 

         8      In the same region there were some shepherds staying out in the fields and keeping watch over their flock by night.
          9      And an angel of the Lord suddenly stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them; and they were terribly frightened.

Season two comes to a close with the culmination of the Word of GOD - heaven is the final destination of those who have faith in JESUS CHRIST the LORD!  Indeed, JESUS is the Christians heaven!  the promise is one day GOD will remove all that obstructs HIS children's perfect harmony with HIMSELF, HIS SON and HIS SPIRIT!  O happy day that will be!  Come LORD JESUS - come!

4      and He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away.”
5      And He who sits on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” And He said, “Write, for these words are faithful and true.”
6      Then He said to me, “aIt is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give to the one who thirsts from the spring of the water of life without cost.
7      “He who overcomes will inherit these things, and I will be his God and he will be My son.

Holly and I want to take just a few minutes to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving and share a funny story about this Thanksgiving dinner.

Most importantly we want to draw your attention to giving thanks to GOD the FATHER through the LORD JESUS CHRIST by the power of the HOLY SPIRIT.  Give HIM thanks because of HIS great mercy in sending HIS SON and now we have an invitation to the marriage super of the LAMB!  Praise the LORD for having our names recorded in the LAMB'S book of life!

We as humans often attach our identity to earthly associations.  For example, we might find our identity in our occupation.  But, to the Christian our identity is found in CHRIST JESUS.  GOD is the only ONE who can tell you your identity.  But even more so, a Christian's identity IS CHRIST JESUS.  The Christian has exchanged all that CHRIST is for all that he is.  When a believer realizes this, their walk is more profound and filled with more joy. 

13      For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son,
14      in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
(Col 1:13–14)

26      that is, the mystery which has been hidden from the past ages and generations, but has now been manifested to His saints,
27      to whom God willed to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
