"That Thing You Do!" is a 1996 musical comedy-drama film written and directed by Tom Hanks. The film tells the story of a fictional 1960s rock band called "The Wonders" from Erie, Pennsylvania, who achieve one-hit-wonder status with their catchy pop song "That Thing You Do!"
