Anecdotal Anatomy

That's a Wrap!

Listen Later

This week's episode organically concludes Season 3.

Theresa & Sherry talk about their CAMP experience as a way of buttoning up Season 3 while revealing the story arc of the podcast to date. They draw a squiggly line connecting the Koshas of S1 through the Embodiment of S2, landing in the Wholistic Neighborhood of S3. While S3 is not the end of the story, it provides a natural pause before diving deeper into Science & Stories (S4).

This season was a practice of surrendering to the process. It was a loosening of pre-existing structures while simultaneously constructing new ones. In that spirit, the hosts discuss the value of practicing youthfulness (a peaceful rebellion against the structures & trajectory of aging).

To jump-start the experience of laughter in the body (which doesn't know the difference between authentic & manufactured laughter for the benefits), Sherry led a Laughter Yoga session inspired by its creator, Dr. Madan Kataria (click his name for more information). Youthfulness is wrapped in laughter!

They remind listeners to follow their dreams - to listen to the storied whispers of their bodies which are really maps of past & future travels. Honoring the layers of story that tell our respective tales, mining meaning for growth and understanding.

This season has been its own story and this episode hits the pause button before S4 starts next week. S4 will be an excavation of science & stories, so stay tuned!!
