Weak faith is a serious problem for the believer.
Jesus explains it when He explains the parable of the sower in Matthew 13:20-21. He says that a person with weak faith becomes shallow, like a seed on stony places... who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy; yet he has no root in himself, but endures only for a while. For when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he stumbles.
That's why it is critical that our faith can withstand testing. Trials deepen our faith, test our resolve, and grow our endurance. And that endurance develops our character as individuals and as believers.
Join me for this practical, special lagniappe edition as we explore why God allows our faith to be tested, the difference between tests and temptations, and how we can endure both to the glory of God!
