Where is the gauge? Check the mood. People who have been made righteous should be radiant and ruddy. Remember that scripture “They look to Him?” because He is their righteousness and their faces become radiant. His face holds the promise of a bright future for all who would dare to look, behold, gaze, and get fixated on His face. There is an expected mood that should follow everyone who looks to Jesus as their righteousness. There sure is! If you take a look at redemption, you will see that the design concept that triggered the creation of the idea was initiated with an end in mind- the end where people are gleeful, cheerful, joyful, and bright-faced!
Why should our lives not be lived on the bright side? Why should the mood around our lives not be bright and inviting? Where have you been looking? What place has your heart been? What meditations have occupied your soul? Fix the gaze of a man’s heart and you would have fixed the mood that surrounds him- the mood that is the result of hearing that you have been given the gift of righteousness.
Imagine the idea that God does not blame you? Picture what will happen to a person’s heart if they were told that God does not blame them for anything that has happened in their life. If we decide to do a drawing of your life’s mood board, what will it look like after hearing that God puts no blame on you?
