This week, I strayed from the usual path and decided to create a special episode of the show devoted to, well...the show! Throughout the last year and a bit, I've gotten asked a lot of the same questions, and I figured it was high time I opened up more about why I wanted to start this show, what goes into it, why I think it's important for women to support women, and the goals I have for the podcast itself.
As you'll hear me say near the beginning of this episode, really diving into the why or the show felt really big for me. In order to truly explain why I'm so passionate about this show, I had to open up a lot, and as I'm sure you can all agree, being vulnerable is always a challenge. I did my best to be clear and concise - whether I succeeded at that is up to you! Regardless, I am grateful to everyone who tunes in and listens. Episode 60 is raw and real and very close to my heart. I appreciate you taking the time and giving your energy to it.
This episode has been in the works for weeks - and maybe for much longer than that, if you really look at the bigger picture. I have to say that I am so incredibly grateful to all of the past guests who contributed their voices to it: Karen Unland, Sarah Taylor, Pamella Heikel, Claire Theaker-Brown, Marliss Weber, Jacqueline Jacek, and Lindsey Walker. Your words made my heart soar. It was so cool to listen to your contributions after recording my story and see all of the connections. It was also incredible to hear that this podcast is important to you all. I may or may not have cried. Quite a bit. So thank you again for taking the time and for everything you had to say. Episode 60 wouldn't be the same without you.

Again, thank you so, so much for tuning in to this episode of the show. If you loved this foray into deeper issues and want to see more in the future, tell me so. I'd love to hear your thoughts, and once again, I'm grateful that you've taken the time to listen.
Next week, we continue the special episode train when I sit down with German Villegas of The Modern Manhood Podcast to talk about sexism, toxic masculinity, and how they hurt everyone and shape our existences and experiences. We had a fascinating conversation and I can't wait to share it with you all!
See you next week!
