That's Strange

Welcome to Strange Theatre - a brand new podcast experience from That's Strange!

We are trying something entirely new to us and, if you like it, we are setting up a whole new show over at Anchor!

So, yeah... this episode is going to be different.

We love movies (especially horror movies). So, we wanted to make something that is a little out of the ordinary.

We got on Netflix Party and watched Creep (IMDb) and we recorded our conversation and reactions in real time. So, this one is different - and it's best enjoyed by loading the movie up in Netflix, hitting play when we do and listening without any speed adjustments or silence removal.

Just sit back, relax and enjoy the movie with us as we try out something new.

Alex and Chad sat down recently to dive into Project Bluebird, also known as MKUltra. The top secret experiments executed by the United States in the years following World War II. Ryan was unfortunately unable to join us for this exciting episode. The boys breakdown the origins of the project as well as some of the conspiracies tied to these horrifying experiments. There is obviously no shortage of jokes along the way and as always some of Alex's accents come out to play. We hope you guys enjoy this weeks episode and we look forward to hearing your input on what really happened. I will leave some links below for videos we discussed during the episode.

Stay tuned to That's Strange for everything we have coming up! We are cooking something up that we are all very excited for, we know you will be too! We will be revealing what's next for us within the coming weeks!

Also don't forget to check out Downright Creepy! We have been loving our partnership so far and we know our fans are as well!

The crew at That's Strange is back on the case of the internet's weirdest, strangest, and eye opening stories.

We are super excited to announce that we have officially joined //crickets Podcast Network as a Downright Creepy Original podcast.

On this week’s Season 3 premier we cover a topic we have wanted to cover from the infancy of That's Strange, The West Memphis Murders.

In the summer of 1993, three West Memphis second graders disappeared while riding their bikes near a patch of woods known as Robin Hood Hills. Following a frantic search by families and friends as well as police the night of the disappearance, the boys were no where to be found. In the afternoon of May 6th, 1993, the three boys bodies were found in shallow creek in the Robin Hood Hills. Take a listen as we breakdown the original crime, the arrests and trials of what have become known as The West Memphis Three, as well as dive into who we believe is really responsible for this heinous crime.

Stay tuned to That's Strange to keep up to date on Season 3 and more!

Make sure you take time to head over to Downright Creepy, If you love our podcast then you will have a blast going through all of their content. Thank you all for the continued support and we will see you again soon!

Happy Holidays from That's Strange!

We are super excited to drop this Christmas themed episode on Christmas Eve!

Come with us as we break down some truly bizarre holiday traditions. From the pickle hidden in some families Christmas trees to the creature that punishes the naughty children - the men sit down to discuss Krampus, with Ryan interjecting strange facts about tomorrow's holiday - bringing you a holiday special that you could only get from That's Strange.

We couldn't be happier with the way season 2 came together. While this is the end of our second official season, its only the beginning of That's Strange.

We have a lot of exciting news to share with you soon, so keep posted to That's Strange for the latest news on our upcoming third season.

We are taking a short break to spend the holidays with our families, however season three is currently planned for a January 14th release. That's right! New episodes of That's Strange will be coming very soon. Stay tuned and we can't wait to see you on the other side!

Enjoy the holidays!

The boys sit down to discuss the Winchester Mystery House.

The widow of firearm tycoon William Winchester started construction on this massive and bizarre structure following several tragedies in her life.

Her husband passed away from tuberculosis, while her infant daughter passed away from marasmus. Following a visit to a local medium, Sarah Winchester packed up her bags and moved west to California. She acquired a farm house, which she would spend the next thirty eight years adding on to.

With several oddities in the construction of add ons to a few ghostly encounters, this topic is ripe for That's Strange.

Hop on and listen as we break down everything from how the Winchesters gained their fortune to Ryan's real-life encounter with this incredible structure.

While season 2 is coming to a close soon we want you to remember that we are only taking a brief break before beginning production on Season 3.

Stay up to date on what we have coming down the line over on our official website.

Alex and Ryan just wanted to talk about 340 being broken.

Go watch the guy who did it talk about it here.

Or read more about it here.

You can find more links to things we do at thatsstrange.net.

*Disclaimer* This is a rerun of episode 7 from season 1. We're taking the week off so we thought we'd bring back one of our most popular episodes to date for those of you who maybe missed it back in August. Enjoy!
