As we close our series in the book of Psalms, we will learn the reasons why we do what we do. What do we do? We praise, we love, we serve, and so much more. This verses read like a condensed version of Ephesians chapter 1. We are so blessed! A very personal word of praise.

As the world pauses give thanks in this season, God's people are to perpetually praise Him. Aside from the obvious things we are to thank Him for, i.e., life, family, and a roof over our heads, we want to take time to praise Him for His Word, for through His Word we find our salvation.

What does revival look like? Is it the one we go to or the one we experience? Revival is a theme that flows throughout the Bible and in the Psalms particularly. The cry of the psalmists heart should also be ours.

Have you ever been disappointed, and wondered whether God is fair or not? Have you ever found yourself struggling, while those around you seem to be prospering? How do you deal with it? The psalmists wrote about these things, proving that there's nothing new under the sun. Encouragement for the difficult times we face.

What do you do when that LITTLE three letter word called 'sin', begins to cause BIG trouble in your life? The great king David addresses this issue head on in the Psalms. If we're honest, we know that sin has a way of making the Christian life miserable, if not dealt with properly. The book of Psalms addresses this issue head on, and lets us know that there is hope.

Our new series takes a look at selected Psalms which were written under difficult circumstances. First up is Psalm 142, written by David while he was hiding in a cave from king Saul. He wants to praise the Lord; yet his circumstances have constricted him. What to do?

Any discussion of God's warriors would not be complete without mentioning theses four young men. They teach about communion, commitment, and resistance. Are you willing to stand alone?

Jehoshaphat was a man who understood where his help came from. When he set himself to seek the Lord, he set in motion a series of events that would him and us some things about power.

While our Enemy does not and cannot read our thoughts, we must be mindful that our words, actions and attitudes reveal what's going on in our hearts. As warriors, we must be mindful of the things we say and do. Are your words, attitudes and actions getting the Enemy's attention?
