We start off this week's episode with some news on Christopher Nolan's 'Tenet' and if we think it's really going to be released in theaters.
We then bring you a whole lotta love with two different love stories. Beginning with the rom-com, THE LOVEBIRDS where we see a recently broken up couple try to manage their personal lives all while trying to prove their innocence in a murder (yes this is a rom-com). We then get into the 18th Century French love story in PORTRAIT OF A LADY ON FIRE where two women realize that love is more powerful than they even thought.

And just to make sure everyone knows where we stand on this past week's events... #BlackLivesMatter
Things are a little different this go around as we chat about two new movies on the podcast but before that we discuss some news from this past week as it pertains to how people really feel about movie theaters eventually opening back up & what needs to be done before any of that happens.
We then get into our reviews as we talk about a notorious gangster's last year of life in CAPONE that stars Tom Hardy & the sci-fi drama, starring Robert Pattinson, HIGH LIFE. The question is always... were they any good?! The answer may surprise you but as always you'll have to listen to find out.

We begin today's episode with some exciting/fun personal news from this past week & then get right into it by discussing our thoughts on two of Netflix's newest movies.
First up is the not so typical rom-com but more of a com-dram movie, The Half of It. After we got our dose of sappy, we get into the gritty drama by the name of A Day and a Night. Both films were not what we expected but did that mean they were any good?! You guessed it... you're going to have to listen & find out!

On today's episode we discuss some 2 new movies that are currently available to stream but before we do that, we chat for a few about how AMC & Regal really feel about Universal Studios' comments after their successful 'Trolls World Tour' VOD release. Could we really not see anymore Universal movies at theaters once the pandemic is over?!
We then get right into our main attractions; Bad Education & Horse Girl. The REAL backstory to Bad Education is one you have to hear to believe & Horse Girl may be one of those you have to sit down and think about for a few. Are they worth the watch?! You're going to have to listen and find out.

And now to our feature presentation... The Safdie Bros!
On today's episode we talk about 2 movies by The Safdie Bros. & why we think you should absolutely watch them both.
We've all heard about Adam Sandler's greatness in 'Uncut Gems' but did you know that The Safdie Bros. got another big name actor for another movies of theirs back in 2017?! That movie is called 'Good Time' & it stars former teenage vampire, Robert Pattinson.
We discuss both movies' similarities & differences as well as ponder if these movies are a part of a Safdie Bros. Universe series. Also is it wrong rooting for the bad guy?!
Get your popcorn ready because this one is going to be fun!

• Dark Waters
• Just Mercy
• Waves
We also discuss some updates on AMC Theaters & what is next for the podcast!
So sit back, relax & enjoy!
