You have to be careful with cash only businesses. This limits credibility, growth, credit, and more. Don't fall into the trap of a cash only business.

Here are some tips for an effective staff meeting.  Who is leading it? What was the purpose? Cover time-sensitive material, follow ups, assignments, long-term goals. No meetings just to have a meeting.

Sean shares on building a company with a direction. Too many entrepreneurs focus on the start and the survival of their business and never actually plan the direction of their business. Establish the north star for your business starting with your mission statement.

Money is not always the motivator. It could be faith, family, or flexibility. From the very beginning try to understand what motivates people. In order to help people grow and expand their capacity, you have to know what motivates them.

Be the bridge. A bridge takes you from one destination to another and it takes you over an obstacle.  Consider being a bridge for people. Giving in this way will always help you grow.

Avoid these death moves to stay in business for the long haul. Going all in may sound good until you lose it all. Be a speedboat not a cruise ship when you start. Be careful with partnerships.
