Judy Proteau, an experienced ultra runner who has completed eight 100-mile races in the past 5 years, discusses her journey into ultra running, her experiences in the sport, and what it is like to do this as a 'Masters Runner'.

She most recently ran the Vermont 100 mile race, and she shared the challenges it presented her including heat and elevation. Judy shares her strategies for coping with these challenges and emphasizes the importance of community and support in ultra running.

Judy also discussed various training strategies, the mental challenges faced during races, and the differences she has noticed between running flat 100's compared to mountainous 100's.
