But we end up talking way more about how the media handle the 'Hitchcock calls out ref' affair, and how maybe the NHL can be better at that in general. We also fly through a terrible week for the Oilers, and talk about...sigh...analytics.

Today we discuss how German's prediction of the games was totally correct, and how we see the evolution of one Cam Talbot. We also diver a little deep into the Buffalo Sabres rebuild, is there something to learn? Maybe? Maybe not?

So we argue over who was the MOST right in our predictions.

We also talk about Klefbom and the impact he has had, same with Koskinan, Hitchcock's sneaky use of analytics, and I guess we'll talk about Nylander (you know because it's a small market and we care about small market teams)

We catch up on a lost week, which was incidentely one of the busiest weeks for the Oilers news wise. We'll deliver scorching but healthy takes about Hitchcock, Strome, Benning, Koskinen, and Puljujarvi. And then we talk about the Carolina celebrations, and guess what we love them. 

From highest of highs this season we go to the lowest of lows, as we talk about this 4 game losing streak and the tire fire that followed. We also discuss the controversy of the Milan Lucic headhunt and why German is all against it.

Today we invite a friend because he called me out on Twitter. Gregg Beever joins us as we talk about what happened in the last week. We were giddy over the 4th line, but sour over the 3rd. We talk Puljujarvi (again) and Bouchard (again). And then we ask, how can we make Hockey TV better? 

Elliott said we were going to go 3-0 this week and it ALMOST HAPPENED. So we celebrate that. We also talk about Zack Kassian's trade request, Koskinan's first start, and how people like Torts are oh so wrong. 

We finally won a game! So German and Elliott celebrate by asking, what is up with Jesse Puljujarvi? We also talk about Tobias Reider and the case for Kailer Yamamoto to stay up in Edmonton.
