Sinéad confesse she is getting a bit tired of Zoom calls! After zoom chats with the girls, meetings and invitations to take part in Zoom quizzes she is feeling drained afterwards. Apparently this exhaustion or feeling of being drained is common after numerous group video calls, psychotherapist Stella O Malley had a lot to say about Zoom fatigue and how now more than ever we need to look after our mental health

Sinéad and Wee county trophies have teamed up to honour everyday heroes doing great deeds during covid 19 for their covid community hero awards. Today Avril Hammill from Kells nominated her late cousin Joseph Smith from Mullagh who was out delivering medicine to vulnerable people in his community when he was killed in a tragic road accident. Avril explained why she wanted to nominate Joseph.

Fiona Tallon pharmacist from Stamullan wanted to do something to help frontline staff efforts during covid 19 so she set up the run for HSE heroes fundraiser, in just over a week Fiona raised a whopping €227,000 and counting. Sinéad heard all about her fundraiser and decided to surprise Fiona on air as being our first covid community hero award recipent.

The phone at Murtaghs paint and fabric supplies in Drogheda is ringing off the hook with people in the north east looking to buy paint as they turn to DIY in an effort to keep boredom at bay. Barry Murtagh tells Sinéad that business is booming and in 1 day alone he had 400 calls about paint!

Deirdre Bonar from Dunleer and her three sisters have signed up for a hefty chalenge all to raise funds for the incredible staff at Our Lady's hospice Harolds cross. They are taking care of their aunt Cecil who was diagnosed with motor neurone disease in May 2019 and had to move into the hospice as an inpatient during covid 19. Hear all about their challenge.

Dr Jennifer Edgeworth clinical psychologist with the HSE discussed how it's normal to feel stress during covid 19, how to recognise the symptoms of stress and how to overcome them and she also had some self care tips to practice as well.
