Join me, Mike Perricone, and my Producer, "Shorty" for HOT LAPS WITH STATS this Friday, June 2, 2017 from 8-10 p.m. on THE 110NATION SPORTS RADIO NETWORK. Joining the studio first will be John Blewett IV of the Wall (N.J.) Stadium Sportsman Division. John, who made his debut a few weeks ago, is the latest member of this racing family to strap into a race car. We will talk with John about his hopes for his first season and any additional pressure he may feel carrying the Blewett name into a racing career of his own. In the second hour, we will talk with Don Howe, a multiple Asphalt Modified Champion at Islip Speedway and Riverhead Raceway back in the day. Don won the Vintage Race held this past Saturday night at Riverhead in his iconic #34. He will be joined by James Kelly, the group's Founder and another participant in the event. A youngster from and iconic racing family just starting out and two veterans from back in the day still scrapping in for their fans. Please join us.

Mike and C.J. are back on tonight.  C.J. has been out with a death in the family and is needing to talk sports tonight to clear his head.  Mike is getting restless, as he just wants to talk some sports.  So tonight, the guys will be getting in the studio at 7 PM EST, to talk sports!!!  Make sure you tune in, promise, you won't want to miss!!!

Joining us first in the studio will be 17-year-old John Blewett IV, the latest member of a racing clan based in New Jersey, whose reach extends to Long Island and other points in the Northeast. John made his Sportsman Division debut at Wall (N.J.) Stadium this past Saturday night. We will talk to John about his impressions after his first race, his expectations for 2017 and if he feels any additional pressure carrying the Blewett name into a racing career of his own. Then, in the second hour, NASCAR and Riverhead (L.I. ) Raceway Official Michael Cappiello will outline for fans what his Race day is like from the time he checks into the Pit Area to the conclusion of the night's action. A racer just coming off his debut in what will be an entertaining, informative show, so please join us.

With the Granite State Late Models invading Riverhead (L.I.) Raceway this weekend, we will speak with Roger Oxee, one of the competitors who will be looking to uphold the honor of the locals. We will speak with Roger about his career, his 2017 season and what's ahead for him. Then joining us in the studio will be Michael J. Cordeiro, a member of the tow truck crew at Riverhead. We will talk to him about his duties on race day and his role once a wreck occurs on the raceway. Another entertaining and what we hope will be an informative show, so please join us.
