    As-salaam wa-alaikum, brothers and sisters.

Today's selection is from Surah 10, Yûnus or Jonah, verses 21-40. These verses speak of how people call upon God when they're only suffering but do not when they are comfortable and safe. Examples of this worldly life are given. The deities worshipped by the mushrikeen are not even aware they are being worshipped. Reason and truth about Allah are pitted against these so-called Gods as the Qur'an is the basis for Allah's revelation.
