The 1987 Viking Sally murder is a homicide that took place on July 28th, 1987 aboard the cruise ferry MS Viking Sally. The ferry was en route from Stockholm, Sweden, to Turku and Finland. Sometime during the trip, an unknown assailant attacked two West German tourists, Klaus Schelkle and Bettina Taxis, killing one and seriously injuring the other.
